Celebrating 100 Years of Chevy

The Chevrolet brand has been around for 100 since Louis Chevrolet branched out from GM in 1911. It all started when the founder of GM, William C. Durant, began having Louis Chevrolet drive his cars in promotional races. Durant used the exposure of Louis Chevrolet as a race car drive to launch Chevrolet. The Series C Classic Six was the first car Chevrolet produced and since then has produced 198 different models and over 70 concept models. Chevrolet was first company to make a mid and full size hybrid pickup with the Chevrolet Silverado and the 1990 Corvette was the first car to have active audio volume control. There have been many awesome vehicles rolling off the lots of dealerships around the country and into your homes and it will be fun to see what the next 100 years will bring.
