The LA Auto Show: 2012 ZL1 Camaro

The LA Auto Show just finished up its run last week. The show was only $12 admission and it allowed for 3 days of car watching glory.  At the show 2 very special Chevy models made their World Debut. The first model was the 2012 Chevrolet  Camaro ZL1. Even more awesome, it was a convertible. The 2012 Camaro ZL1 will have a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 rated at 580 hp and with 556 lb-ft of torque. The starting price will begin at $54,000 for the ZL1. For that price you will get a top speed of 184mph, a 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, cooling ducts for the brakes and everything you'll need for a track ready Camaro.

Sensors calculate pitch, roll, squat, dive and yaw, instantly adjusting the suspension's magnetic fluid to form the ideal damping pressure.
