3 Upgrades to make your car unique

The car you drive can say as much or as little about you as you want. If you are looking to tell the world a little bit about yourself simply by driving a car there are a few things you can do.

One of the most recognizable ways to showcase your personality is a vanity license plate. One of my favorite plates was "VLADTHE" on a Chevrolet Impala. This person probably loves to have a good time and since they know at least a bit about history there is a chance they are also intelligent. Some one who could be fun to hang out and have a deep conversation with.

Since we a dealership in Tucson Arizona we often see scorching temperatures that can damage your dash and steering wheels. A steering wheel cover is a low cost option that will actually preserve the live of your interior and also can make your car truly "your car."

Another cool way to improve the look of your car and let people know about you are your wheels. Choosing the perfect wheels can vastly change the way people look at your car.

At O'Reilly Chevrolet we offer numerous parts and accessories that will make your car unique. You can do as little are as much as you want but anything you do we would love to see it. Check out our parts store and post your car's pictures on our Facebook when your done and let us know why you choose those upgrades.

Drive

Have you had a chance to watch Drive? If you haven't seen it I would recommend giving it a go. The movie is not as much of an action movie as you might think, but it is definitely fun to watch. It was interesting to note in the beginning scene, Ryan Gosling gets into a police chase and instead of using a hyped up car like the one you see in the Fast and the Furious, he chooses to drive a Chevrolet Impala. Before the chase Shannon, Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad, provides the Driver with many cars to choose from and recommends the Chevrolet Impala. The Impala is chosen because it is a popular car and driven by many in California. For most people the Impala is a reliable, economical vehicle that is fun to drive, but in this movie we see more of what it is capable of doing. I often don't get myself in to situations like the ones from the movie Drive but it's nice to know I've got a car that has the power when I need it.

Here is a clip from the movie. Ryan Gosling is driving the Impala in this scene and is a lot calmer than I would be in this situation.
